Article: Ohio Gov Tests Positive 1 Week After Stopping HCQ Ban

Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine has now tested positive for COVID less than a week after he stopped the state’s pharmacy board from prohibiting hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).

Last week, after the renewed political push to stifle any conversation about hydroxychloroquine, the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy banned it, arbitrarily and capriciously.  When pressed by the Governor, they relented but stated their intent to talk to “stakeholders” about reinstating their ban on a medicine that’s been safely used for 75 years.

On July 31st’s show, David Knight reports, “Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has been around for 75 years, and 5 million Americans have prescriptions for it. It’s prescribed for arthritis, lupus, and other conditions. In 2005 Fauci’s own organization, the NIH, said that HCQ was very effective both as a preventative and cure for coronaviruses. They changed their opinion on HCQ in just a couple of months, much like they did with masks. Mask mandates started with them saying ‘no, you shouldn’t wear them’ to, ‘yes, you should wear them’ to, ‘you must wear them’ to, ‘we’ll arrest you if you don’t wear them’. Like mask rules, HCQ rules are changing rapidly.”

The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy issued a new rule on the 20th of July stating, “No prescription for chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine may be dispensed by a pharmacist or sold at retail… unless the prescription bears a written diagnosis code from the prescriber or a statement indicating its veterinary medical purpose.”

“Oh, and by the way, the next paragraph states that if the reason for the prescription is COVID-19 they can’t fulfill it. Dogs can get it but we can’t.” Commented Knight.

The statement goes on to say, “Upon the effective date of this rule, all previous approvals for the use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine shall be deemed void and must be approved using the process outlined in this paragraph.”

Knight Noted, “So it’s ok for dogs but people with lupus, or arthritis, or any of the other conditions it’s been proven effective in treating have to jump through hoops to get more. Never mind that the NIH already did clinical studies That show it’s effective in treating coronaviruses. Nevermind that there are doctors who’ve done a meta-study of 105,000 patients in a couple of dozen countries showing that it reduces the death rate by a factor of three.”

“I’m not pushing HCQ, I don’t care if you take it or not,” clarified Knight, “What I’m saying is, it’s not their decision to make. They shouldn’t be telling you whether or not you can take [medical] marijuana and they shouldn’t be telling you whether or not you can take a drug that’s been used for 75 years. In both of these cases, it’s about the money and there’s a political component. It allows these people to have control over your life, and it raises some very troubling issues of authority. Understand what this is about, it’s not just junk science, it’s also about JUNK AUTHORITY. The ex post facto prohibition of medicine by unelected bureaucrats.”

After receiving pressure from the Republican Governor of Ohio Mike DeWine, they withdrew the rule saying, “As a result of the feedback received by the medical and patient community and at the request of Governor DeWine, the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy has withdrawn proposed rule 4729:5-5-21 of the Administrative Code.”

“It wasn’t proposed, they put it out there. They didn’t ‘propose’ it, they dictated it.” Knight commented. “What they went on to say is the most troubling part,”

“Therefore, prohibitions on the prescribing of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in Ohio for the treatment of COVID-19 will not take effect at this time. This will allow the Board to reexamine the issue with the assistance of the State Medical Board of Ohio, clinical experts, and other stakeholders to determine appropriate next steps.”

David Knight “They aren’t prohibiting it ‘at this time’. These arrogant, unelected bureaucrats aren’t giving up on this. They’re going to talk to their ‘stakeholders’. Who are the stakeholders? It’s people like Bill Gates who fund all this.”

“I’m glad Governor DeWine stood up to this, however, what he said was, ‘I am asking the @OhioRxBoard to halt their new rule prohibiting the selling or dispensing of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.”

Knight explained, before you celebrate. There’s a problem. “This is the problem I have, the Governor shouldn’t be asking them, he should be FIRING them. They’re not going to stop. They’ve said they are going to talk to their ‘stakeholders’ like big pharmaceutical companies, Gates, and Fauci to see if they have any way around this. We’ve got to have Governors and a president who will stand up to the bureaucrats who’ve locked our country down into a depression.” Knight concluded.
