Article – Churches: Obey God, Not Health Tyrants

Published

Are churches and pastors leading the only serious challenge to the lockdown by our unelected bureaucrat rulers?  They will not be bought off or intimidated like the “walking dead” small business quislings who think they can survive if they comply and assist in the tyranny.

The irony is that it won’t be liberal “social gospel” Protestant churches or”liberation theology” Roman Catholic  socialists, but those whose priority is worship and whose focus is on the power of the gospel that will actually liberate society by resisting the new medical tyranny.

When King George threatened the freedoms established by the Magna Carta, pastors across America stood in civil disobedience to his unlawful rules.  Now pastors are beginning to rise against King Fauci’s threat to our Constitution.

“It began with the IRS.  The idea that an income tax agency would create the rules and conditions under which that same agency would apply the taxes.  The idea that they would be the arbiters and rule writers, with their own tax courts and their own tax police.  The idea that you would have no due process or presumption of innocence.  It really did begin with the IRS, now it’s being done by pretty much every government agency, but nothing like what we’re seeing with the health dictatorship” said David Knight on  8/18/2020’s show

“America was founded because people didn’t want to be slaves, NOT because they wanted to be slave masters. The people telling you that only want YOU to be slaves,” Knight continued.

“A lot of the people who came here came for religious freedom, that’s why many of the leaders of the American Revolution were pastors.  They understood that the foundation of our freedom went back to the Magna Carta, that King George wasn’t an absolute ruler, that he had rebelled against the Magna Carta.”

“The Magna Carta, the Great Charter, established the idea that the king wasn’t an absolute ruler, and it helped to establish all of our liberties.  These ruling bureaucracies are a rebellious attack on the freedom that was won by the sword at Runnymede.”

“To fight this we have to understand that our freedom wasn’t just won with the sword but also with the sword of the mouth.  There were a lot of pastors that went to jail for religious freedom.”

“When we see these government officials, from the president to the local bureaucrats, rebelling against the Constitution, it’s the same thing.  THEY are the rebels, as John MacArthur said.  They have no authority because they have thrown off the authority that they swore an oath to as a condition of their office.”

“Look at the history of freedom, free speech, and the free exercise of religion were right there at the beginning.  Core freedoms that we’ve seen being eradicated in the last couple of years.  First, the internet technocrats attacked your free speech and the independent free press.  Now they’re coming after the free exercise of religion.”

John MacArthur, a well-known pastor of a large church in California, has this message for churches,  “Go to church.  If enough churches do that, if we all do that, then it overwhelms the system.  Here we’re just one church, and there’s a couple more in the area that you know about, there’s just a few of us that are being tested in court.  But if everybody goes back to church then it becomes overwhelming.”

Knight comments,  “It’s not just John MacArthur’s church that they’re coming after, the North Valley Baptist had a notice left on their door demanding that in-person worship services stop.  The church met anyway and were fined $10,000 for it.”

“It’s like the notice left on the door of William Penn’s church, it told them ‘you will not meet’.  Penn’s church met anyway, when the government padlocked the church’s door they met on the steps, then they arrested Penn.  As part of his trial, they established jury nullification and habeas corpus.  This is the tradition behind the founding of America, our Bill or Rights, and our Constitution.  And it’s being torn down right now, in front of your eyes.”

“I had Jon Rappoport on at the beginning of all this and he said at the time,  ‘pastors across the country need to open their churches and defy this.  It would show that nobody is dying and we could stop it from the ground up.’  And that’s what they’re now doing.  That’s the way this is going to stop, with civil disobedience,”  said Knight.
