Saturday, September 5th marked the 100th consecutive day of civil unrest in Portland. BLM “protesters” celebrated their 100th day anniversary in much the same way as the other 99, by setting fires and rioting, except this time a little more so.
As this goes on and on the mainstream media’s reporting on it has only become more divorced from reality. CNN reporters stand in front of burning businesses and assure their viewers that the protest were ‘mostly peaceful’. Their lies have to become more ridiculous if they want to continue portraying the violent rioters as peaceful protesters.
The Washington Post reported on it with an article titled “After 100 days of demonstrations, unusual protest tactics are likely to remain” (https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/protest-tactics-dc/2020/09/04/81a82cfa-ee74-11ea-99a1-71343d03bc29_story.html).
What ‘unusual tactics’ is WaPo referring to? “Marches have grown more confrontational – cornering politicians in their homes and heckling strangers as they go about their lives. Protesters have embraced mobility and taken to participating in demonstrations far from their hometowns.”
Professor Gabriella Coleman, is quoted in the article saying that this will “forever influence the way Americans protest. It also moves the needle of what is considered a peaceful protest.”
As usual, leftist media and academia will redefine “peaceful” to whatever serves their purpose as they’ve already done with “racism”.
The article likens the BLM’s rioters to Hong Kong’s peaceful protesters, just before talking about the throwing of bricks and Molotov cocktails, pointing lasers into the eyes of police, using fireworks as weapons, etc.
The Washington Post reports, “Despite the coronavirus pandemic, protest-hopping in different cities has become an increasingly common practice among the most committed activist.” They then interviewed two “protesters” about their experiences traveling around the country from riot to riot. Arianna Evens, a member of “Freedom Fighters D.C.” says “People might say I’ve been radicalized, but you know what? I have absolutely been radicalized – and it’s the government’s fault.” the article states that Evens, “can’t wait to go to Portland.”
The New York Post published an article titled, “Trump shares video of Portland protester catching fire set to ‘footloose’” trying to make this about Trump rather than the protesters setting fire to Portland’s streets and businesses, and hilariously, sometimes themselves.
David Knight reports, “CNN did a banner headline ‘Protests Were Fiery, But Mostly Peaceful’. So it’s no problem, right? I want to show you this clip of Scott Carpenter, who had his family’s business burned down after 40 years.”
In the video, Carpenter stands in front of the smoldering ashes of what was once his family’s business, “I knew it was going to be a disaster but I didn’t know what a disaster was until I saw it,” said Carpenter, “It’s emotionally hurtful. We didn’t do anything to anybody. Why did we deserve it?”
Knight continues, “The New York Times said they were ‘Peaceful Marches That Gave Way to Fire and Destruction’. Or you have CBS anchor Gale King saying ‘The riots began as peaceful protests, which is what Black Live Matter is really all about.’ We all know that, right? Is it really what that’s about Gale? Is it even about Black people or is it about Marxism? Is it about the plan going back to the mid-20th century to create a civil war here in America based on racism?”
King goes on to say, “It’s not clear if the ones setting the fires were the ones involved in the initial demonstrations.” Knight comments, “Yeah, they had nothing to do with it at all, except we’ve shown you the documents where they strategize about how they want some of them to be peaceful out front so they can maneuver behind them.”

“This is being used by Marxists. Just take a look at the video of this mob of white college students, Lenin’s ‘useful idiots’, intimidating this woman at a restaurant yelling and screaming at her, getting in her face. They’ve got their fists up in the air, demanding that she join them.”
The article from the Washington Post reported on this same indecent by saying only that, “After the daytime march ended, some visitors from other states attended smaller rallies to disrupt Washingtonians’ daily lives and confront residents on issues of race and criminal justice.”
“She’s not doing it, she’s not raising her fist in solidarity with the white Marxists, for Black Lives Matter of course, though I don’t see any black lives there,” said Knight.
Knight concludes, “Finally they bend down and yell in her face ‘you’re a Christian aren’t you?’ Yeah, because I don’t worship Marxism, and I don’t worship your racist agenda. ‘Oh you must be a Christian aren’t you’, yeah they got that right. I don’t bow to you, I’m a Christian, I only kneel to God.”
