The Wave of Evictions Coming Jan 1

Published

“We have a song, ‘Home for the holidays’, but many millions of people may not have a home AFTER the holidays.

“John Pollock, who is a staff attorney at the Public Justice Center said, ‘Expect the most evictions in history as the ban on evictions expires. I don’t see how it’s possible that we’re not going to see more evictions on Jan 1 than we’ve EVER seen in a month,’ “ reports ZeroHedge.

“I found the idea absolutely incredible that the CDC could put a moratorium on evictions.  It may sound like compassion, but understand that government isn’t reason or compassion, it is force.  Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.  I don’t know if Washington actually said that, but it’s true nonetheless,” said David Knight on 12/15/2020’s show.

“As I’ve pointed out before, 45% of the properties are owned by small individual investors, not investment trusts or big banks.  That’s what has to go for their ‘Great Reset’.  They have to erase not only people’s income, jobs, and small businesses, they have to erase any accumulated wealth of the middle class as well.  Not many people are talking about the outrageousness that the CDC put a moratorium on evictions, in the name of ‘compassion’.”

“Here’s how it works out, small landlords are inclined to do what they can to work with you, unlike a big bank.  A major bank will kick you out in a heartbeat.  The Trade Association interviewed some individuals affected by this, one lady, in particular, talked about how she didn’t know what to do about this, she said she’d given her tenant several months deferment on the rent but she was getting behind on her payments to the bank.  The bank was going to take the property from her and then she’d lose her home as well since that was her investment property.  That’s the plan, that’s why they extended this.”

“We’re talking about millions of people, approximately 11 million renters and 4 to 5 million mortgagees are now in forbearance, and it’s building up like a major balloon note.  They’re going to let this go long enough so that these people can’t get themselves out of that hole, then the big banks will take it all, and you’ll wind up without anybody owning anything.  Want to know how you get everybody in a 200 square foot micro-apartment in the city?  Want to know how to wipe out all private ownership in this country and the wealth of the middle class?  This is how.”

Doug Casey said “The government will not only have to pay the rent for the future, but it’s going to have to cover landlords’ previously unpaid rent—if they don’t want lots of bankrupt landlords and banks.”

“But they do want a whole lot of bankrupt landlords, that’s the whole point. The CDC did this.  How does the CDC put a federal ban on evictions and overrule any decisions by property owners?  They don’t have that authority, Trump let them exercise that authority anyway.  That’s one of the reasons why I’m not convinced that he’s going to do anything to fix this election fraud, even for himself.  He is so passive, he’s either ignorant of what’s going on or he’s sold out,” concluded Knight.
