Article: Trump Cuts Payroll Taxes, Biden Pretends Fiscal Restraint — But Why Do They Tax Us When They’re Handing Out $Trillion/month?

America’s debt is increasing at a shocking rate of $1 trillion per month as Washington completely ignores fiscal responsibility and deficits.  Yet when Trump proposes tax cuts in the middle of all this insanity, Biden suddenly finds he DOES care about the national debt after all.

On 8/10/2020’s show, David Knight reports, “President Trump has promised to permanently cut the payroll tax by executive order, the tax that funds Social Security.  Trump recently signed an order letting workers postpone payment of their payroll taxes until next year, and claims that if he’s re-elected he’ll cut it permanently.”

Knight continued, ”And now you have Biden saying ‘it’s a reckless war on Social Security’.  Wait a minute, the Democrats are the people with a multi-trillion dollar plan for everything they want to do.  Biden is talking about this in the context of the last five months, where the government has added over $5 trillion to the deficit.  As Rand Paul said, ‘we owe Obama an apology for criticizing his irresponsible trillion-dollar deficit’, and that was for a year, we’ve been spending a trillion-dollars more than we have every single month.”

“Washington has totally rejected any fiscal sanity and embraced MMT (Modern Monetary Theory).  In an environment where they’re giving their friends on Wall Street a TRILLION dollars every month, why do they bother to tax us anymore?  It’s because they don’t want you to have any discretionary income, they want to control everything about you.  That’s why they still do taxes, they’re not concerned about fiscal responsibility, it’s a joke that Biden would even talk about that, and it’s a joke that Trump would ignore it as well.”

“Everything about Social Security is a lie, folks.  When it was first done by Germany they set the age to 65 because that was the life expectancy at the time, they didn’t plan on anybody getting it.  There’s no account with your name on it that’s been accumulating money, they just take it from whoever’s coming into the system, it’s the very definition of a Ponzi scheme.  As a matter of fact, in May of last year, the Hill published an article titled,  ‘Social Security just ran a $9 trillion deficit, and nobody noticed’.  But now, Biden notices.”
