Article: No Mask? You’re A Coronavirus Defector. Professor Proposes Pill To Make You Comply

“Could a psychoactive pill be the solution to the pandemic?” Asks Parker Crutchfield, a professor of medical “ethics”. “When someone chooses not to follow public health guidelines around the coronavirus, they’re defecting from the public good…A solution would be to make moral enhancement compulsory or administer it secretly, perhaps via the water supply.”

What he means by “moral enhancement” are drugs like oxytocin and psilocybin, because, as Crutchfield writes, “These substances have been shown to lower aggressive behavior in those with antisocial personality disorder and to improve the ability of sociopaths to recognize emotion in others.”  Compulsory or covertly administered medication to stop those sociopathic, antisocial “defectors” from exercising their individual rights.

On 8/14/2020’s show, David Knight reports, he’s suggesting a ‘morality pill’, not a red pill, kinda a blue pill with some magic mushrooms.  He’s proposing this as a way to make people compliant.”

Crutchfield writes that “mandating things like mask wearing and social distancing – might work, if defectors could be coerced into adhering to them. But not all states have opted to pass them or to enforce the rules that are in place.”

“My research in bioethics focuses on questions like how to induce those who are noncooperative to get on board with doing what’s best for the public good. To me, it seems the problem of coronavirus defectors could be solved by moral enhancement: like receiving a vaccine to beef up your immune system, people could take a substance to boost their cooperative, pro-social behavior. Could a psychoactive pill be the solution to the pandemic?”  asked Crutchfield.

Knight commented,  “People who say they value social cooperation more than individual liberty or informed consent are tyrants.  The people who want to shove this down your throat ‘for public health’ while disregarding individual health.  Let me tell you, there is no public health without individual health.”

Crutchfield criticized California lockdown protesters, using them as examples of defectors, saying their protest was “prioritizing the personal over the collective.”  And goes on to say,  “Another challenge is that the defectors who need moral enhancement are also the least likely to sign up for it. As some have argued, a solution would be to make moral enhancement compulsory or administer it secretly, perhaps via the water supply.”

Knight remarked,  “Drugging us through the water supply?  This guy is starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist  We’ve been talking about how they do precisely that with things like fluoride and lithium.  In the past, when I would talk about this, I was called a conspiracy theorist but it’s a fact that these chemicals do that to you.  They’ve been doing this for years, what he’s saying is that it should be stepped up.  Putting it out in the open and taking it to the next level, not just fluoride and lithium which dumb you down and pacify you, now we’re talking about oxytocin and psilocybin.  These will make you more ’empathic, caring, and generous,’ and you know, just… out of it.”

Crutchfield continues,  “The scenario in which the government forces an immunity booster upon everyone is plausible. And the military has been forcing enhancements like vaccines or “uppers” upon soldiers for a long time.”

Knight reports,  “We’re experiencing a combination of 1984 and Brave New World, as I’ve said many times before, you get 1984 if you push back against this and Brave New World for those that go along with it.  In Brave New World they would use sex and drugs to pacify the population, the drug from the book was called ‘soma’ and the slogan was ‘a gram is better than a damn’.  Altruism is good when done out of thinking motives and love, if it’s forced, it’s not altruism.  And if it’s forced with a drug it’s not altruism either.”

Crutchfield concluded his article by saying,  “The scenario in which the government forces a morality booster upon everyone is far-fetched. But a strategy like this one could be a way out of this pandemic, a future outbreak or the suffering associated with climate change. That’s why we should be thinking of it now.”

“This is what they’ve been planning.  The justification is replaceable, it’s just a ‘MacGuffin’.  Like the Maltese Falcon or other movie MacGuffins, what it is doesn’t matter, it’s a plot device.  The authoritarians MacGuffin was that ‘the planet is going to freeze’, no wait, ‘the planet is going to melt’, no wait, ‘the climate is going to change’, no wait, ‘there’s a pandemic!’ It doesn’t matter what the excuse is, the MacGuffin changes but the planned response remains the same.”  Knight concluded.
