Article: Massive Unemployment But Businesses Can’t Find Workers: CARES Act (Stimulus) is the Globalist UBI

We’re experiencing unprecedented unemployment, yet businesses are struggling to find anyone looking for a job.  Politicians on both the left and the right are pushing Universal Basic Income (UBI) to hide the effects of the lockdown at the cost of making it far worse when the bill comes due.

“A listener sent me an email saying, ‘I live in Michigan and I work at a foundry melting cast iron.  Our plant and every other business in town are struggling to get workers.’  I reported on this same problem with restaurants, they can’t get workers even though over 60% of restaurants closed permanently and many more are closed currently.  When you have that kind of a loss of jobs why aren’t people looking for work?  It’s because they’re being incentivized not to work” reported David Knight on the 9/3/2020 show.

The listener points out, “We are 15 people short and no temp agency has anyone available. People are making more money not working than they would be working so there is ZERO incentive for them to get a job.  Also they know Congress will just keep extending it out due to the Kung Flu scam.  Anyways this is hurting our companies, our workers, and our country.  They are not helping us.”

Knight continues,  “This is not a helping hand, President Trump, what you’re doing is enforcing UBI.  Both Republicans and Democrats are now pushing the CARES Act.  The policies from the Republicans are more radical than anything from the Democrats in the 60s and 70s.”

“You can see that UBI is coming when you look at people like Charles Murray.  In the 1980’s Charles Murray wrote “Losing Ground”, a very inspiring book that laid out the case for why welfare actually makes things worse.  In it, he talked about the people who have been the main target of welfare, typically minorities in the inner-cities.  He pointed out that the policies they claimed were to help poor black people were really destroying the black middle class.  The same thing happened with the Indian reservations,”  said Knight.

“Even though Charles Murray wrote the book explaining how welfare destroys people’s incentive to work, he’s now become an advocate of UBI.  Why?  Because he’s a part of the technocratic elite.  The technocrats, like Elon Musk, want UBI very badly.  That’s why many of them, especially Musk, put so much money behind the candidacy of Andrew Yang.”

“You can see the various districts where they’re doing these UBI experiments, Yang said he was going to pick a thousand or so people and give them free income for a year to see what happens.  We know what happens.  We know what human nature is.  As the listener writes, nobody can find anyone who wants to work.  If they’re going to pay you more to not work why would you want a job?”

“I previously talked about a coffee shop that was still open doing take-out, the owner said ‘I can’t get anyone to work here, and I don’t blame them because they’d have to take a pay cut to come work for me.’  Why would you take a pay cut to work when you make more when you don’t?”

“They are destroying society, Republicans and Democrats, with their lockdown and their communist income policy.  They’re destroying our businesses, they’re destroying our work ethic, they’re destroying everything about this country.  It’s not an innocent mistake, they know exactly what they’re doing.  A lot of these people, like Charles Murray, have switched sides, and you better understand which politicians have switched sides on you,” Knight concluded.
